EHS Specialist

Description

The EHS Specialist will be responsible to develop and ensure fulfillment of all necessary local legal and other requirements.   Apply for local approvals and coordination of local authority's audits, including corresponding communication.  Coordinate the ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 Management System Certification Audits within the facility.  Implement and monitor all Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety processes and requirements in the facility. Advise and support all local departments regarding EHS. Collect and perform analysis and reports on investigations, occurrences, near misses, accidents and incidents.  Perform HS Risk Assessment & Environmental Aspects Assessment.  Organize and coordinate EHS facility measurements.  Coordinate all site activities related to Waste management.  Coordinate annual medical surveillances and implement PPE management on site.  Perform initial EHS trainings.  Responsible for Fire Safety management, documentation and approvals. Perform EHS reporting. 

Your profile

Bachelor's degree.  Minimum of two (2) years of experience within Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety.  Detailed knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.  Good communication and analytical skills.  Fully bilingual, English and Spanish (spoken and written).   Able to travel abroad.  Skills in MS Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; experience with SAP desired.
