The Quality Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, perform spot checks within the organization for deficiency identification; perform quality investigations for accident, incident and warranty occurrences; perform root cause analysis and provide support in implementing actions; take part in hazard identification in the location; track, analyze and report pertinent quality topics; participate in the Project Team of a layover; liaise with Aviation Authorities and Customer Representatives on quality issues, audits and queries; issue and revoke company authorizations and conduct authorization boards.
Technical or Business Degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the Aerospace Industry or equivalent. Detailed understanding of FAA Rules & Regulations; preferably EASA Part 145. Good broad based knowledge of the Aviation Industry and Training courses. Capable of engaging and directing others to achieve project targets. Ability to work with one's own initiative, and operate under time, as pressure demands. Good interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills with a proven track record. Computer applications experience in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, LHT Share Point Applications, SAP. Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Team and customer focused. Able to travel abroad.
