Local Infrastructure Services Specialist

The Local Infrastructure Services Specialist responsibilities' include, but are not limited to: 1st and 2nd Level Support for Basic Infrastructure Services, operate and provide local basic infrastructure services (e.g. LAN, email, Voice, etc.), administer and maintain local infrastructure and installations, liaising with suppliers of local installation in relation to service management requests; in accordance with equipment contracts and service level agreements liaison with suppliers to execute repairs or replacements; identify, diagnose, maintain and escalate, incidents, service requests. Operate and maintain a central ticketing system, support for application monitoring and calculation of KPIs, timely elevate and/or escalate to next level complex problems, coordinate maintenance downtimes of basic infrastructure components, preparation and update of documentation, among other tasks.
University or college degree in Computer science or a minimum of 3 years in related experience. Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken). Excellent practical skills in System Administration. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Technologies: Server 2008 r2; Active Directory Management; DFS; Windows XP / 7. Experience with general IT troubleshooting, Windows Server and related enterprise services, as well as Internet protocols and concepts. Very good analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Knowledge in Networking is preferred. Ability to operate in high-demand emergency situations. Service oriented behavior; Strong Team player. Extensive experience in end-user support. Capacity for intercultural competence; capacity to work under pressure. ITIL v3 Foundation or higher certification is a plus. Previous experience working in managed environment is a plus. Available to travel abroad.
