Quality and Safety Manager

The Quality & Safety Manager is responsible for monitoring the quality system including the associated feedback system as required by 14 CFR part 145 regulations. The Quality & Safety Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to: perform all tasks requested by the relevant IQ MOVE processes under the roles accepted; represent and support all Quality issues within the local organization on management level; being focal point for customers, authorities and LHT Management for local quality issues; manage local operations for Quality assurance, training coordination and EHS; ensure that centralized Quality processes and standards are implemented and followed; participate and support in the development and continuous improvement of the centralized services and processes; set targets and monitor employee performance within the local department deriving from central objectives; support the team Quality Specialists; evaluate, follow and support environmental, health and safety standards; organize all communication in the company related to Aviation Safety, EHS and Training; organize communication and report to all relevant authorities in regards to Quality and EHS as required by the relevant processes in IQ MOVE; provide support towards the development and implementation of quality programs; represent company on meetings (local and international); among other tasks.
University degree or relevant training in related field; Fundamental understanding of a quality system and its development, documentation and implementation to international standards and/or requirements; Thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques; Understanding human factors and motivation; Detailed understanding of FAA regulations and EASA Part 145; Minimum 3 years work experience in quality management system, preferably with ISO9001 (EN 9110) standard; Experience in conducting audits (planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up); Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer ideally from an aerospace background. Able to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and prioritize; Computer literate with familiarity of Microsoft based software; Good communication skills; Detailed knowledge of the relevant legislation; Good analytical skills; Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
